So in my daily wandering about of the many weblogs on the internet, I stumbled across something rather interesting. The long and the short of it is that if you provide space on your weblog/webpage and link the holy flying carp out of Front Sight and its founder, Dr. Ignatius Piazza, and then drop them a line to let them know you did it, they will provide you a voucher for a 4-day class of your choice.
Unbelievable? A little. But the ArchAngel link above has a pretty good explanation of how/why it is believable. Think of it as GoogleBombing being used for good, instead of evil. Or something like that.
Regardless, I have absolutely nothing against Front Sight, and in fact, if I had the money and time off, would definitely be interested in taking some classes there, especially since I am relatively nearby. And webspace is cheap. So, if this little plan works out, I am definitely going to have to see what I can do about my schedule… otherwise, ignore the rest of this post, and get along with your merry life.

It works. I got my certificate last week. Now I just need to find the time and money to go to Vegas. Which probably won’t happen this year.
The one advantage to living in California is you can probably drive to Front Sight.
Oh, I could easily drive to Front Sight, but I know I do not have the time to take off four days. Not entirely sure what I am going to do with the certificate, at this point.
