well, that was stupid
Apparently, Michael Moore, the poster child for the let (though the left would try and tell you that he is, in fact, the poster child for the fringe left, while simultaneously supporting and agreeing with his views and assertations at every turn), decided to make a turn for the more-stupid and challenge Fred Thompson to a "debate". I am not entirely sure what Mr. Thompson did to prompt little Mikey's ire, besides point out the duplicitousness of Mikey's visit to Cuba (and we all know that disagreeing with Mikey is tantamount to treason), but I guess that is sufficient for the little man (well, actually, Mikey really is not all that little... at least not physically) to get his cute little panties in a twist, and shoot off a sarcasm-laden letter to Mr. Thompson. A disingenuous, hate-filled, vitriolic, insincere letter that was only meant to be a pubulicity stunt (and, unfortunately, succeded), but it was still a challenge.
Unsurprisingly, Mr. Thompson rose to that challenge, and provided this response. You really have to watch it to get the full impact of it, and realize just how badly Mr. Thompson simply dismissed Mikey as being effectively insignificant.... "... I just don't have time for you." Of course, the insinuations made are almost better than the dismissal... in short, watch it.
One can only hope that Mikey might reconsider taking on opponents far outside of his league in the future... I honestly doubt it, but, damn, that man's oversized ass has to be getting sore from the repeated kickings it receives.
