who'd'a thunk?
What with me being married and Better Half being 800 miles away (and soon to be a continent away), this video is more than a little poignant. Granted, it covers a tried-and-true debate, but the presentation is novel, if nothing else.
The best part of it, however, occurs at the end. I could tell where this video was going within moments of its start, so there was no surprise there. The surprise, however, was that this video is, in some way or another, tied to a Canadian. Now, sure, this could be as "related" to this Bruce Montague character as the "Hillary-1984" clip was "related" to Barack Obama, however, after taking a quick glance at his site, I have little to no doubt that, if he was not actively behind the clip, he does not mind its existence either. If some of the information portrayed on his site is anywhere near accurate, I sincerely hope he is successful... I confess that I am not terribly up-to-date on Canadian laws, but considering the government's socialistic nature, it is no surprise that it fears guns enough to make laws such as the ones he is fighting against. Maybe there is a glimmer of hope for our frozen neighbors up north...
