gimme your money!

As you all may have noticed, there is a new linking area on the left column…  Basically, it amounts to ways for me to try and convince this webpage to make me a little money.  The dreamhost.com/donate.cgi?id=6246″>first is nothing more than an honest-to-God dreamhost.com/donate.cgi?id=6246″>donation system.  Click the link, fill in the form, and whatever money you decide to donate to me gets transferred to dreamhost.com/r.cgi?142226″>Dreamhost by way of PayPal.  And, as the webpage itself says, all of the money goes straight into my webhosting bill – I cannot divert some of it towards my blossoming things-that-go-boom habit, or sharp-shiny-pointy-things addiction, or anything else.

The dreamhost.com/r.cgi?142226″>second link is for if you, yourself, want to be hosted with dreamhost.com/r.cgi?142226″>Dreamhost.  I strongly recommend this company for webhosting, both from the ease of use standpoint, as well as their customer service and value.  For what little you are paying for the actual plan, you are getting a massively huge amount of space, bandwidth, and widgets (such as SQL, carts, secure servers, etc.).  Also, if you think that dreamhost.com/r.cgi?142226″>Dreamhost is your ideal hosting solution (and after spending over a week last year looking at all the options, I strongly believe you will not find better – if you do, please let me know), feel free to use my discount code: "WOTC" (without the quotes, of course).  This will get you $40 off any hosting plan.  Any plan dreamhost.com/r.cgi?142226″>Dreamhost has, and they certainly have a few, will suddenly become $40 cheaper.  In a few cases, if I remember properly, this will make the plan almost free.  How can you lose?

The third link is nothing more than my CafePress store – The Philosophy of Firefly.  I think I have beaten this store senseless in previous posts, but I will point out that I have a new product line contained within it, the Serenity Athletic Department.  Probably worth a look, whether you play sports or not…  All that matters is an interest in, and appreciation of,

And the fourth link is somewhat unique.  If you ever get the inkling to shop at Amazon.com (and, I mean, who does these days…? [/sarcasm]), feel free to click on the link to get you there.  It does not cost you anything to use it – once you click on it, you will be placed right back at Amazon, just like normal – but any purchase you make, makes me money.  Again, this is at no cost to you - Amazon gives me money just for referring you to their site (as if people have a hard time finding it…).  We all win :)

And that’s all I wrote.  Have a safe and Happy New Year (try to stay off the roads, assuming that is an option), and see you on the flip side.
