What really sucks is that my apartment complex has three separate ponds that would just be beautiful for this thing… granted, the fountains in the middle of them might cause a few problems for aerodynamics and staying in the air and all… [...] As if it was not already readily obvious, I am a relatively conservative individual when it comes to politics. Not surprisingly, not everyone at work shares that particular viewpoint on the world… One man, in particular, I would qualify as a "flaming liberal"… Mainly because he seems to be of… [...] Way back when I was in college, I saw a bumper sticker on a car that read, "Kayakers roll over and do it again." At the time, I was somewhat amused with the play on words, and since the car in question had the necessary roof rack equipment required to… [...] This guy obviously has far, far too much time on his hands… and way too many LEGO blocks to boot. However… holy crap, that has to be one of the coolest things I have ever seen done with LEGOs… the thing even lights up! Of course, I am probably biased… [...] A day late and a dollar short… Six years (and a day) ago, terrorists drove a small boat laden with explosives into the side of the USS Cole, a United States Navy Guided Missile Destroyer which was then moored in Yemen while taking on fuel. Seventeen sailors, men and… [...] So, as some of you may or may not know, I graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology way back in 2004 (yeah, so long ago, I know). While I was there, the running joke was that Tech students were sufficiently over-worked, under-slept, excessively-tested/quizzed/homeworked, and just generally too… [...] I cannot say as though I have ever been a tremendous fan of Nintendo games, machines, or products… Do not get me wrong… Super Smash Brothers Melee is definitely the best game of its genre ever to be made… and I spent far too much time playing the Super… [...] So, as some of you may or may not have already noticed, my political leanings generally slant towards the conservative side of the house (though, that said, I do differ with them on many points still – abortion, for example, but that is a topic for another post). Is it… [...] As my previous entries have alluded to, I am currently wearing contacts in an effort to see if they suit me, and to see if they can adequately compensate for the shortcomings of my eyes. This has certainly been an interesting learning experience… When I get really, really focused on… [...] So I wear glasses. I have since I was single-digits of age… probably somewhere around seven or eight. At this point in my now-adult life, they are so very much a part of me, I cannot go without them for more than ten minutes and not think that I have… [...] Greetings and salutations my fellow internet denizens.
