As my visitors can see, there is a blogroll on the right toolbar, and it includes more than a few different weblogs. These are blogs I read on a relatively frequent basis, and comment on occasionally. For those people who are reading this and who own one of those blogs, you are probably wondering why I am linking to you. The long story short is that this blog has had three previous iterations. The first version I closed myself, because I had made a few errors in judgement, and deleting my words seemed to be one of the better ways to heal the damage I had done. The second version died when the SpliceHost server took its hit, and I had not bothered to make any backup versions. The third, and most recent, version croaked when SpliceHost’s incompetence showed itself for the final time. However, that time, I was smart enough to grab a backup of the site (well, not really… I like Google’s cache ability!).
So here I am, once again at the corner of no and where. No links to my webpage, so no search engine will ever know of this site’s existance. Yeah, I am whining. Hush you ;) . At any rate, those of you who happen upon this webpage by following the referral links, when I or someone else use the blogroll to the right, please update your links. Its old address is effectively permanently dead, and I would appreciate the updating of your links to my old weblog, to this current one.
I realize a lot of people may or may not believe me, so I will go ahead and add all of the old posts from my old weblog to this one. They are dated well in the past, so will not show up on the main page, but it might add some credence to my statements.
Just some more information in the seemingly interminable updating process.
Update: I would like to put out a major thank you to “Stop the ACLU” (See the link in my blogroll… Evidently I am a moron with trackbacks, and broke something…) for actually linking to walls of the city. In all honesty, I was not expecting a response, and definitely not that quickly, and definitely not from such a major site. Thank you once again!
Update 2: Well, while some sites are kind enough to actually link to me, other sites are kind enough to offer me the opportunity to hijack them, in order to get them to link to me. Conservative Cat has a wonderful way of increasing your Ecosystem rank, while also increasing your Google/other-search-engine rank. I figure I can use all the help I can get ;)
